My name is Pamela, and for years, I felt stuck in a job that wasn’t for me.
Not only a job, even my own retail business. I will develop more about it in a bit.
About the job, it was mostly a sales job that drained me; it was stressful, and I was feeling like I wasn’t living my life at all.
But due to circumstances and a lot of anxiety :/ I couldn’t find a way out of it.
One day, everything changed.
I started following a blogger who was traveling around the world with his business.
Suddenly, the door of opportunity and possibility opened.
I realized there was something more apart from traditional jobs.
And business. In that moment, I was managing my own retail business.
For destiny questions (I suppose), this business kinda land in my lap.
It was my first business, and it was very successful,l but I felt trapped as I was in the store all the time.
Every day I went to that store twice a day, and every Saturday I was there.
In the weekend I didn’t have time for much more than resting and organizing my things for the next week ahead, and I felt stuck in a cycle without freedom.
Then, step by step, I studied more about digital businesses. I dropped that business, started new jobs, and with time I created my first blog.
After I saw an ad about selling agency services to businesses and I end up investing in myself and go for it despite I didn’t have much idea.
I just had a feeling it could work.
And it worked out very well!
In a couple of months, I was already making half of my salary. In the third month, I was already making an income similar to my salary, and from that, I escalated quickly.
Asked for part-time in the job that I was working, and some months later I dropped it totally.
I was so happy!
I remember the day that I dropped my job I went to a Amsterdam for a marketing course and it was just the perfect goodbye to a new world and welcome to the new one.
At that time I worked in a store in the railway station and I just closed the door of the store and took the train to a whole new life!
And that feel amazing!
After that I keep traveling (slow traveling) and moved close to the beach.
Then I changed cities several times due to my location-free business.
Digital marketing started it all.
After I started craving more passive income instead of services.
That is when I took a chance on affiliate marketing.
I already knew affiliate marketing from when I was a blogger before. I just never realized it could be a strong source of income for beginners.
I bought Digital Wealth Academy and The Secret Sauce and started to study and apply all the techniques with the advantage that I can sell it as an affiliate and make 85% and 70% profit.
I think affiliate marketing is a great way to start a business without the headache of creating your own product at first when you don’t even have an audience or team.
