Hi, my name is Pamela, and a few years ago I worked at a retail store.
This job was super stressful as well as the jobs I had before.
I had to serve countless costumers non stop. Most of the time, with no time for coffee or even going to the bathroom. It was really non-stop! Not to talk about leaving the store or going for a walk errand or something similar.
I was feeling super trapped. Maybe for other person that was ok but for me, as an introvert looking for freedom (and time and space) that was not ok! I was dreading not only working but having a healthy sleep and and thought patterns!
Dealing with people going on my nerves, no sleep and lots of anxiety.I didn’t know myself so well at that time, I tought ok I really don’t like this job and that’s it, but it was not only that, it was the combination of being an introvert that needs freedom, and that was totally the opposite of it!
I knew I wanted more freedom, so I started to do different things to achieve it:
-I did some print-on-demand stuff and while it was a lot of fun, I was only making money for coffee monthly. It was worth the fun tough!
-Then I created a blog and even though it made me some money, I didn’t know how to scale it with my kind of audience.
-Later I learned about online services, found a course that I enjoyed and started selling my online services as an advertiser and later as an agency. This last one was the most effective combination and worked super quickly.
I was able to make money after a couple of months of learning the course, reduce my work time, and within 6 months, I left my job.
It was a dream that came true!
The same day I dropped my job, I travelled to Holland as a kind of digital nomad for 3 weeks. Had a course there, met friends, and spent some days working as a solo digital nomad around there, and loved it!
Later on, I realized this business needed my attention all the time.
When I had like 10 clients at the same time, I needed to constantly readjust campaigns, communicate with clients, etc.
So that’s when I realized I need help and had two employees.
Maybe the rest of the story is for another day 🙂 But the point is, I achieved my dream, really love it, and still do! I am still working with some clients that I love working with.
I just realized that I wanted to scale my business differently, with digital products and affiliate marketing.
And that led me here, to this blog and to the courses that I sell, like The Digital Wealth Academy and The Secret Sauce.
And you?
How was your journey till now?
